Precautions for using polyethylene storage tanks

1. When storing high resistance organic solvents in polyethylene storage tanks, anti-static facilities should be installed. 

2. Polyethylene storage tanks should be protected from severe impact and collision on the equipment body during the installation process. 

3. Before use, users should check the sealing function of the storage tank device and add liquid to observe if there is any leakage. Storage tanks for chemical liquids should be tested for leaks with water to prevent losses. 4. The polyethylene storage tank is a normal temperature and pressure storage tank. The operating temperature of steel plastic composite storage tanks is -40 ℃ to 98 ℃, and the operating temperature of polyethylene storage tanks is -40 ℃ to 60 ℃. 

5. Polyethylene storage tanks should be clearly labeled when storing chemicals. There should be good drainage ditches and dilution devices around the place where storage tanks are placed. 

6. It is necessary to open the vent for the infusion and output of the equipment to prevent damage from pressure. 

7. The operating environment of the equipment should be kept away from the earthquake source and avoid touching open flames. 

8. If there is a joint connecting the pipe at the bottom of the polyethylene storage tank, it should be perpendicular to the barrel wall. Soft joints should be used to prevent uneven expansion of the barrel wall after filling with liquid, which may damage the joint connection and cause leakage. In severe cases, the joint and barrel body may be damaged. 

9. When the inlet is higher from the bottom of the tank, it should be bent towards the tank wall to allow the incoming liquid to fall down along the tank wall and reduce the impact on the bottom. 

10. The pipelines and accessories connected to the equipment should prevent their weight from directly acting on the equipment. When lifting, the connecting pipes, manholes, etc. on the equipment shall not be used as points of force. 

11. The takeover on the equipment should use acid resistant gaskets and be sealed, and the gaskets should be replaced in a timely manner. 

12. It is necessary to comply with relevant regulations for the installation, operation, and protection of equipment.
