There are two types of end caps for horizontal storage tanks: flat end caps and butterfly end caps. For flat end caps, they can withstand an internal pressure of 40KPa. The butterfly shaped end cap can withstand an internal pressure of 0.2 MPa. In addition, for horizontal storage tanks located underground, it is necessary to have reinforced rings to ensure safe use.

2. Unloading of storage tanks

(1) Before unloading, corresponding preparations should be made to avoid any problems during the unloading process, which may cause adverse effects or consequences, or unnecessary trouble.

(2) The unloading of storage tanks also depends on the working environment and weather conditions. If severe weather conditions such as lightning are encountered, this work cannot be carried out.
