Liquid level detection of chemical storage tanks

Chemical storage tanks are made of modified materials and high-pressure polyethylene (PE) as raw materials, using a unique processing technology for one-time molding (rotational molding process). This type of storage tank does not use any additives or ceramic fillers in its production and manufacturing. It is completely made from a single and identical raw material. From the storage tank to the inlet and outlet, hand holes, flanges, etc., they are all formed in one go without welding joints. Therefore, the storage tank also has the characteristics of not easily leaking water, not leaking water, not containing toxicity, light weight, aging resistance, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, long life, and compliance with Chinese regulations. Its price is much lower than that of stainless steel plate storage tanks, general fiberglass anti-corrosion storage tanks, etc., and its service life is longer under natural conditions.

So how to observe the liquid level of a sealed chemical storage tank?

Here, a magnetic flap level gauge is used to immediately observe the liquid level aspect ratio of various substances in containers. It is suitable for liquid level marking in industrial production industries such as crude oil and chemical plants. It has a simple structure, visual and clear observation, no blockage or leakage, easy installation, and easy maintenance.

As a general requirement, it is necessary to retrofit the upper alarm system on hazardous chemical storage tanks. In the past, simple glass tube level gauges and magnetic flap level gauges were used on storage tanks. How to retrofit electronic level gauges? Initially, we considered installing an upper alarm on an external instrument panel for the retrofit of a capital invested level sensor. However, it is not feasible to use a capital invested camera sensor for storage tanks. The camera itself works by converting the working pressure of the material part, and if the tank is under pressure, it cannot be selected for application. How can we solve it well?

Based on the above difficulties, a capacitive sensor sensor can be retrofitted on the glass tube level gauge. If the liquid is not completely transparent, even an infrared sensor can be added. It cannot be embedded. Considering the basic update and renovation, the glass tube level gauge can accurately indicate the liquid level in the sealed tube. Only the parts on the glass tube that can be inspected need to be considered. Magnetic flap level gauge is simpler and can be used to check the location of the magnet.
